Neymar could make surprise start for PSG against Real Madrid

L’Équipe report today that Neymar could make a surprise appearance in Paris Saint-Germain’s starting lineup to face Real Madrid, on his return from injury.

The Brazilian had been out of action since the start of November with an ankle injury, and has recovered in time to be included in Les Parisiens’ squad for the Round of 16 first leg tonight.

The PSG staff are even thinking of starting the 30-year-old – although should they decide against the risky option it will be Ángel Di María who takes his place on the frontline.

Nevertheless, the possibility of seeing Neymar line up alongside Kylian Mbappé and Lionel Messi in an attacking trident tonight is not completely out of the question.
