After nearly 27 years in the professional wrestling business, Bubba Ray Dudley (real name: Mark LoMonaco) is seemingly ready to hang up the boots.

As previously noted, the tag team legend had been hinting at retirement throughout Ring of Honor’s recent Global Wars tour, culminating in an emotional farewell speech at Sunday night’s finale in Chicago. After hitting the ring and dispatching members of The Addiction through a table, Bubba announced that it was “about that time” to ride off into the proverbial sunset. He then brought a young child into the ring and thanked him as a symbol to all the fans around the world, gifting him a piece of the table that was, in his own words, the last he would ever break.

LoMonaco began his career in 1991 training under Johnny Rodz, the same man who trained fellow ECW legends Tommy Dreamer and Tazz. His first real break came in the mid-90s with Extreme Championship Wrestling as a stuttering member of the unusual Dudley Family. Soon after he began teaming with D-Von Dudley, and the rest is history…

Here are just some of the many, many accolades Bubba Ray Dudley racked up throughout a truly iconic career:
