As we noted earlier this evening, an unconfirmed rumor has been making the rounds claiming Neville requested his release from WWE shortly before Raw last night.

The timing of the rumor is interesting given it was reported earlier today that initial Raw plans called for Neville to face Enzo Amore in a non-title match on Raw last night, and those plans were of course changed. Kalisto ended up challenging for the Cruiserweight Title, and defeated Enzo in the main event of last night’s show.

F4WOnline.com is now reporting that Neville did indeed “walk out” on WWE before Raw last night, however the company is maintaining he has not been released as of this writing.

Neville’s last WWE TV appearance came on October 3rd, during the segment in which Kalisto joined the Cruiserweight division. The Man Gravity Forgot last wrestled on TV on the September 26th edition of WWE 205 Live, in a main event match against Ariya Daivari.
