As noted, WWE Raw star Samoa Joe has been out of action since undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery on a torn meniscus back in August of this year. The surgery was necessary after Joe suffered a knee injury during a live event match.

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Joe has recovered from the procedure and is ready to return to the ring.

At last word, WWE had not written Joe into any creative plans, so his return is likely just waiting for WWE to figure something out for the former NXT Champion. At one point, there was speculation that Joe would be brought back to be the fifth man in the WWE TLC Handicap Tables, Ladders and Chairs match, but that spot ended up going to a returning Kane.
