Official | Marseille bring in left-winger Nemanja Radonjic from Red Star Belgrade

Marseille have today completed the signing of left-winger Nemanja Radonjic from Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade in a reported €12m deal.

Radonjic, a Serbian international, has signed a five year contract at the Stade Vélodrome after spending the duration of last season at Red Star Belgrade, where he contributed 11 goals to help the club secure the Serbian League title, as well as booking Champions League Group stage qualification following their triumph at Red Bull Salzburg on Wednesday evening.

Les Olympiens paid tribute to their new 22-year-old winger in a club statement to announce the arrival of Radonjic. “A player who is fast and technical, he is a modern day winger who will have a real impact thanks to his dribbling, pace and ability to track back quickly”.

Radonjic becomes Marseille’s fourth major signing of the summer window, following the arrivals of Croatian centre-back Duje Caleta-Car, Jordan Amavi and the recent high profile unveiling of Kevin Strootman from Roma.
