Reims sack performance coach after swathes of injuries

As reported by L’Équipe, Ligue 1 club Stade Reims have sacked performance coach Barthélémy Delecroix after a season badly affected by injuries throughout the senior squad.

With a host of players missing before the 1-1 draw with Brest at the weekend, Reims coach Oscar Garcia said that he’d “never experienced” such problems in his career, explaining: “I don’t remember having had a week without a player injury.”
