Smackdown Notes: Dance-Off, WWE Deletes Tweet, Big Cass Set to Return

— Earlier this afternoon, WWE’s Twitter announced that Carmella would be defending her Women’s title against Asuka tonight on Smackdown. The two are already scheduled to be wrestling at Money in the Bank next month, so it’s unclear if that tweet was a mistake or if they are also battling tonight as well. Either way, WWE has deleted the tweet.

— Big Cass is set to return to action tonight, and the rumor is that he may interfere in the Samoa Joe vs. Daniel Bryan match. Cass has already been active for house shows so his leg injury appears to be a non-issue.

— WWE has also announced a “dance-off” for tonight featuring Naomi and Lana.
