Official: Angel di Maria joins PSG

PSG have announced the signing of Argentinian attacking midfielder Angel di Maria from Manchester United this afternoon.

The player joins on a 4 year contract for around €63m. The player will wear the #11 shirt. In an official press release to the media, Di Maria and PSG President Nasser Al Khelaifi had the following to say:

Di Maria: “I am proud and cannot wait to wear PSG’s colours. I want to have success in all of the competitions that we are going to be competing in, in France and in Europe. I want to win the Champions League again, which is a dream for every footballer. We are going to give everything to bring PSG fans and France the greatest European trophy.”

Al Khelaifi: “We are very proud that Angel di Maria has chosen PSG. This a player full of talent with a wonderful ability to eliminate his opponents with amazing speed He joins an already fantastic South American community and, above all, the great family that is PSG. Once again, PSG, by signing Angel di Maria, proves its great ambitions and its desire to always go higher.”
