PSG are attempting the deadline day loan signing of Mauro Icardi

RMC report this evening that Ligue 1 leaders PSG are attempting to sign Argentine international forward Mauro Icardi on loan from Serie A side Inter Milan, with just over 24 hours remaining of the summer transfer window.

The outlet claims that Les Parisiens would be looking to include an option to buy in the deal.

The 26-year-old has been deemed as undesirable by Inter Milan, with Icardi earlier this week deciding to sue the club for €1.5m for the damage to his reputation that the Italian club were deemed to have committed by excluding him from 1st team activities.
