Official | Ghana left-back Gideon Mensah signs for Bordeaux

Girondins de Bordeaux have this evening announced the signing of Ghanaian full-back Gideon Mensah from Salzburg on a loan deal with a permanent option.

The 23-year-old becomes the first signing of the Gérard Lopez era, and will take the number 14 shirt. The left-back had previously undergone loan spells at Belgian side Zulte-Waregem, Sturm Graz, and Vitória de Guimarães, having only appeared for Salzburg’s youth teams.
