Stéphanie Frappart to be first woman to referee a Coupe de France final

The FFF have announced this afternoon that Stéphanie Frappart will officiate the Coupe de France final on May 7 between Nice and Nantes.

Frappart, who was already been the first woman to referee a Ligue 1 game and a Champions League fixture, will also be the first to take charge of a Coupe de France final.

Christophe Galtier’s men advanced to the final after beating fourth-tier Versailles, while Nantes edged out Monaco on penalties to book their place at the Stade de France.
