PSG’s Leonardo on Kylian Mbappé’s future: “He’s in deep reflection.”

Speaking after Paris Saint-Germain secured their 10th league title last night with a draw against Lens, sporting director Leonardo notably answered questions regarding Kylian Mbappé’s future.

His words transcribed in L’Équipe, the former midfielder indicated that the Frenchman was still thinking over his decision, as uncertainty reigns over whether he will extend with PSG or join Real Madrid or another club this summer. 

“Kylian is speaking and saying things clearly. I really believe in what he’s saying. He’s in deep reflection. I don’t think he’s made his decision.”

“He knows what we want, and we know what he’s thinking. That’s why I think it’s a question of timing. He’s in deep reflection in order to make the best decision.”
