WWE Survivor Series Results
5-on-5 Survivor Series Match
KURT ANGLE (Captain), SAMOA JOE, FINN BALOR, BRAUN STROWMAN & TRIPLE H vs. SHANE MCMAHON (Captain), SHINSUKE NAKAMURA, JOHN CENA, BOBBY ROODE & RANDY ORTON

Shane McMahon tried to be cool by starting off the match but literally got thrown across the entire ring by Braun Strowman. Triple H laughed his ass off about it. They alternated through guys until Finn Balor made the tag, but he demanded Shinsuke Nakamura and the blue brand obliged! They went after it and Shinsuke lit him up with strikes in the corner, before doing a little showboating just to get his the Demon’s head. Balor returned the favor by throwing rights and lefts, sending him into the ropes and delivering a “too sweet” to Nakamura’s forehead.

Triple H tagged in and it looked like Nakamura was giddy with excitement, telling his NXT dad to “bring it on!” They went at it with the Artist briefly getting the upper hand, but The Game fired back with knee strikes and right hands in the corner. Bobby Roode tagged himself in and the crowd went wild for the match-up! They had a great exchange with Roode trying to do his Glorious taunt, but Hunter murdered him with a Spinebuster and instead told him to “SUCK IT”. Booby came back with a Spinebuster of his own and this time did the Glorious taunt to a massive reaction from the crowd.

Things broke down with bodies flying everywhere and all ten guys alternating in and out saving the match for their respective teams. Angle tagged in for the first time and got lit up by Nakamura, who took a cheap shot on Braun Strowman off the apron which was probably the worst decision he’s ever made in his life. Nakamura looked to have the Game put away, but the Monster Among Men entered the ring and completely destroyed him with a running powerslam, catching him off the top rope. Bobby Roode immediately hit the ring and tried to take out Strowman’s knees, but he was quickly dispatched with the running powerslam as well.

Shinsuke Nakamura has been eliminated.

Bobby Roode has been eliminated.

And just like that Team Smackdown is down 5-3. John Cena and Randy Orton worked together to try to take down Braun, brawling with him to the outside, but even 2-on-1 they couldn’t take him off his feet. It took all five members of Smackdown including the two eliminated men to lift up Strowman and send him crashing through the announce table! Shane mounted the ropes looking to hit a diving elbow to the downed big man, but Samoa Joe was there to send him flying with a huge superplex!

In comes John Cena for the first time in the match. Samoa Joe had him put away after a good back and forth, but he tagged in Finn Balor who tried to go for the Coup de Grace, but the two couldn’t get on the same page. Balor and Joe got in each other’s face and started shoving back and forth, and Cena took advantage hitting an Attitude Adjustment on both men! Cover on Joe, 1…2…3!

Samoa Joe has been eliminated.

Kurt Angle comes in and the crowd realizes we’re about to have a return to one of the greatest WWE rivalries of all time. Fifteen years later the two lock up, but this time the 16-time world champion controls the pace. They trade right hands back and forth until Cena hits a series of shoulder tackles and the spin-out powerslam. He motions for the Five Knuckle Shuffle, but Kurt had it scouted as he countered into the ankle lock! Angle Slam connects…but Shane McMahon is there to break it up. Finn Balor with the Coup de Grace out of nowhere with the referee distracted, and Angle hits a second Angle Slam! 1…2…3!

John Cena has been eliminated.

It’s now 4-on-2 in favor of Team Raw. Randy Orton hits the ring and locks up with Finn Balor and the two have a great back and forth exchange. Shane gets knocked off the apron and Balor drives him into the barricade with a huge shotgun dropkick. The distraction was enough rolling back into the ring however, as Orton caught him with the RKO out of nowhere!

Finn Balor has been eliminated.

Triple H immediately hits the ring and beats the hell out of his old protege. After several minutes of the Game in control, Orton crawls to the corner and tries to make the hot tag to Shane McMahon, but he’s knocked off the apron for some reason… Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens are here! They throw Shane into the announce table but the Commish fights back and starts swinging wildly with a steel chair! Sami eats one upside the head and Shane ends up chasing them both to the back, after Orton drops Kevin Owens with an RKO. Aaaaand Braun Strowman is back from the dead. Running powerslam connects on the Viper! 1…2…3!

Randy Orton has been eliminated.

Shane O’Mac turns around and realizes he’s basically screwed.

He takes about three minutes pacing around trying to figure out what he’s going to do, before the referee takes his chair away and basically makes him get back into the ring so we can continue with the match. He and Angle lock up but there’s a bunch of dissension between the entire Raw team as everyone wants in to finish off the Smackdown leader. Shane manages to come back and hit a few brutal looking neckbreakers on Angle, which made me wince. Kurt came back and locked in the ankle lock but he couldn’t get the job done. Triple H hit the ring and delivered a Pedigree to the Olympic gold medalist! Shane with the cover…

Kurt Angle has been eliminated.

Strowman got in the ring to finish the job, but Triple H made him back out so he could deliver the killing Pedigree to his brother-in-law.

Shane McMahon has been eliminated.

Winners: Triple H & Braun Strowman (Team Raw)

After the match Triple H celebrated his “victory” and raised Braun Strowman’s hand, but the Monster was not having any of that. He looked on, obviously confused, but Triple H kept trying to get him to celebrate. Strowman grabbed him by the neck and choked him in the corner, screaming “DONT YOU EVER CROSS ME AGAIN”. The Game legit turned purple and looked traumatized in fear.

Triple H tried to come back and attack the big man from behind, but Strowman easily caught him with a running powerslam to a huge pop from the crowd. Braun’s music sounded but the Game got back up to his knees, prompting another running powerslam from the Monster Among Men. We go off the air with Braun celebrating alone in the ring, ripping off his Team Raw shirt and throwing it back in Triple H’s face.
