AAA presents their biggest card of the year this Saturday night in Mexico City, Triplemania XXVI. Because of the return of Lucha Underground, the long-running partnership with Impact Wrestling, and borders between AAA and CMLL being broken down, this may be the most “accessible” card in many years for U.S. fans looking to wade into the world of lucha libre.

The main event will see a unique steel cage match between four iconic masked stars in Pentagon Jr., Psycho Clown, El Hijo del Fantasma (aka King Cuerno) and L.A. Park (the original). Four men will start inside the cage with the intention of escaping. Once two men remain, they will fight it out in a singles match where the loser will be forced to unmask.

In an interesting situation, at least politically, Jeff Jarrett will defend the AAA Mega Championship against three different Impact Wrestling superstars – Brian Cage, Rich Swann and Rey Fenix. Jarrett returned to AAA earlier this year and somewhat controversially won the world title from Rey Wagner. He also happens to currently be involved in a lawsuit against Impact, the company he co-founded and was semi-recently ousted from.
