Ahead of his WWE title matchup with Kofi Kingston at tonight’s SummerSlam event, the Viper Randy Orton released a statement on Twitter reminding fans that he became the youngest world champion of all-time at this very event in 2004, which also happened to take place at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. Orton promises to add another chapter to his historic WWE run, and end Kofi Kingston’s reign once and for all.
I haven’t been holding anyone down for 11 years, I’ve been making history for 18. At this event, in this building, I became the youngest WWE World Heavyweight Champion…and tonight I add another #SummerSlam win, another championship reign. #14Time
