Marseille submit offer for Nicolas Pépé

Ligue 1 side Marseille have submitted an offer for Angers SCO striker Nicolas Pépé, in the clearest indication yet that they might have given up on Dimitri Payet, according to RMC.

The amount that OM have bid is not yet known, but Angers want at least €10m in order to part with the player who is currently away at the African Cup of Nations.

Nicolas Pépé is seen as an alternative for Payet, but the media outlet reaffirms that the West Ham player remains in advanced negotiations to join Marseille.
