French striker David Faupala’s proposed loan move to Belgian outfit Zulte Waregem has fallen through, according to sources contacted by Get French Football News.

The current Manchester City man had been hoping to find a club where he could receive regular playing time after a failed loan spell at NAC Breda earlier this season.

Sources indicate that there is now “a 1% chance” of a move happening to any side on loan before the window shuts, after Waregem decided not to take the player following a trial period.
